When it comes to architectural drawings, the old paper and digital options have a hot new competitor: skin.

Body-painted floor plans is apparently a new scheme employed by real estate developers to appeal to homebuyers in China.

Bare-skin floorplans attracted homebuyers at a housing fair in China, reports say.

China Daily reports that a housing fair in Century Square in Jilin City, Jilin province, recently featured the body-painted models, others clad only in flowers, giveaways of gold bars, and a plethora of other methods meant to attract potential buyers in China's very hot homebuying market.

The gold and skin pitches appear to be working.

“China has one of the highest rates of homeownership in the world...,” Australia's Herald Sun reports.

"And now, the country's middle class is investing so much in property the government has enforced a one-apartment rule."
