Energy Performance of Air Barrier Systems
This webinar provides an update on the findings of a research project led by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the energy performance of air barrier systems.
Infiltration and exfiltration account for 20 to 30% of the cooling and heating loads in commercial and residential buildings. This study was designed to measure the efficacy of air barriers in reducing these loads. The webinar will address data on energy performance as well as moisture content that was compiled over a twelve month period.
This project is a collaboration between the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA), and twelve of its members.
