Two painters and a municipal worker were fishing on a lake one day, when Jesus walked across the water and joined them in the boat. When the three astonished men had settled down enough to speak, the first painter asked humbly, “Jesus, I’ve suffered from back pain ever since I took shrapnel in the Vietnam War. Can you help me?”
“Of course, my son,” Jesus said. He touched the man's back, and it healed.
The second painter, who wore very thick glasses, then asked if Jesus could help his eyesight.
Jesus smiled, removed the man’s glasses, and tossed them into the lake. Immediately, the man’s vision was restored to perfection.
When Jesus turned to heal the municipal worker, he threw his hands in the air and cried out: “Don’t touch me! I’m on long-term disability!”
