Maggie had wanted new kitchen cabinets for a long time, but her husband Paul insisted they were an extravagance. She went to visit her mother for two weeks, and when she returned, she was overjoyed to find a surprise from her husband: Beautiful new cabinets had been installed in the kitchen.
A few days later, a neighbor came over to visit, and Maggie showed off the new cabinets. The neighbor was impressed, and added, "We were all so glad to see that Paul was OK, and that the fire didn't spread into the rest of the house!"
