John was going door to door, looking for odd jobs to do for his neighbors.
At one house, the homeowner said he would pay John $50 to paint his wraparound porch in the back.
John said “Ok” and got to work. In scarcely 30 minutes, he was back, his hand out for payment.
The homeowner was astonished at his speed but paid up when John assured him the job was done.
John thanked him, headed off, then turned back briefly.
"By the way," he said, "it's a BMW, not a Porsche."
