“Howdy, stranger,” one Texan says. “Where are you from?”
The Oxford graduate answers in a clipped tone, “I come from a place where we do not end our sentences in prepositions.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” replies the Texan. “Where are you from, jackass?”
