A small Wild Animal Park had acquired a female of a rare species of gorilla. Within a few weeks, the female became uncontrollable, however, and the park vet determined that she was in heat. Worse, there were no males of her species available.
Then, the park administrators noticed Ed, an intern cage cleaner, who exuded confidence about his ability to satisfy any female.
The park administrators made Ed an offer: Would he be willing to have sex with the gorilla for $100?
Ed thought it over and the next day, he accepted—under three conditions:
“First,” he said, “I don’t want to have to kiss the gorilla.”
“Second, you must never tell anyone about this.”
The park administration quickly agreed, and asked for his third condition.
Said Ed, “You gotta give me another week to come up with the hundred bucks.”
