Who we are looking for:
RS&H is actively seeking an experienced, registered Project Architect.
We foster, value, and reward people who are creative, self-motivated, and collegial. As an Aviation Architect with RS&H you will have the opportunity to deliver projects of various sizes and complexities. Your work will be informed and supported by in-house planners, airfield and building engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure that all aspects of any aviation facility are accounted for and integrated into the design.

Capabilities: - Overall working knowledge of architectural and engineering systems.
- Ability to exercise judgment and set priorities to manage competing demands.
- Knowledge of accessibility codes, life safety, and building codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Travel as required.
Key Activities: - Manage Scope against contract requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scales.
- Assessing facility issues and developing practical solutions.
- Serve as a technical resource with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop design drawings.
- Provide technical input to ensure project design documents reflect desired outcomes.
- Coordinate and schedule Constructability Reviews during all phases of design.
- Coordination with Contractors and internal project team to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate reviews of Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFI`s, etc., between the project team and design consultant.
- Manage contracts, change orders, invoice approval, and project reporting.
- Support Project Close-out activities related to design consultant responsibilities and deliverables.
Qualifications: - Professional NAAB accredited degree in Architecture
- Registered architect in good standing with the ability to obtain reciprocity
- Minimum 7+ years of related experience
- Aviation experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in both new-build and renovation projects (commercial).
- MS Office, including MS Project
- Experience using Project Management Information Software (i.e., Newforma, Unifier, and Procore).
