What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors

As a Project Architect on our Architecture team, you will be involved in the design process from start to finish of a project. This position will be suited to work on a variety of project types and complexities. Projects at OHM are exciting! They are unique projects with the singular goal of Advancing Communities.

You will be working with a team of exceptional architects, engineers, urban designers, and first-class clients on projects that improve the lives of those living in the communities we serve. Our core project types include education, municipal, State/Federal, and office.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating a team effort to complete projects promptly and successfully.
  • Design and draft project plans and presentations.
  • Assist Project Managers with preparation of work plans, schedules, and budgets related to tasks associated with a Scope of Services.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control of project deliverables.
  • Meet with clients to determine scope, review plans and presentations, and act as an intermediary between client and architectural team.
  • Stay abreast of and maintain expertise in industry-specific standards, codes, permit agency requirements, and community requirements.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of OHM services and relate to our clients’ needs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Experience with one or more of our core project types
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the application of design procedures, practices, and standards
  • Must be experienced in architectural design, detailing, and documentation of the new building, restoration, and renovation projects.
  • Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable Transportation.
