What You Will Be Doing
Conduct preliminary field surveys, develop designs and draft preliminary plans for buildings and facilities
Prepare maps, sketches, working drawings and construction plans, prepare cost estimates, specifications and bid proposals for construction
Participate in the presentation of plans to governing and permitting authorities for land use, zoning and permit approvals
Prepare, review and approve design documents, change orders, material requisitions and specifications for construction or procurement use.
Supervise the inspection of construction projects while in progress and upon completion for adherence to plans and specifications; advise contractors on the interpretation of the plans and specifications
Supervise and provide direction to junior personnel
What You Need for this Position
10 years of relevant experience
Professional degree in Architecture required
Licensure preferred
Fully competent in all aspects of architectural processes
Graphic, 3D visualization, CAD, and Revit skills required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates collaborative and professional work ethic
