Position Title: Jr. Buyer Wage: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Our client is the leading manufacturer of premium consumer and industrial paint and coating products and a great place to work. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person. - Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. - Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. - Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. - Treat people with dignity and respect. - Conduct all business with integrity. - Adhere to the Company's Corporation Quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide Quality activities. - Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Requirements: - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
