"One-Stop-Shop" Firm providing plans and designs in architecture, MEP Engineering, civil engineering, technology consulting and facility consulting, is recruiting for an experienced Project Architect to join their winning team.

Title: Studio Production Director

Day to Day:

  • Lead project teams in the development and completion of construction documents in a timely manner as to meet specific project deadlines
  • Provide Project oversight and leadership
  • Determine the number of resources/staff required to meet client/project objectives
  • Monitor production processes and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Schedule, monitor and adjust weekly work assignments of team members to meet project deadlines
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of production team members.
  • Serve as a third-party in-house reviewer of construction documents at every deliverable
  • Review and validate the accuracy of construction documents for compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Review/communicate with the production team the results of the QA/QC review.
  • Ensure that both company and District goals, objectives and standards are implemented
  • Organize workflow and processes to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop quality standards and continually monitor to ensure that standards are being met.
  • Lead production team in Construction Document and BIM Kick-off meetings
  • Keep up to date with most current regulatory requirements governing project execution
  • Assign and work with BIM Project Leads to define and execute a BIM execution plan for every project.
  • Oversee and direct execution of the company BIM standards including Revit file templates and new project file set up; BIM file structure and weekly file archiving procedures; family and standard detail creation and organization; work sets, view templates, phases, and link management standards all based on project complexity.

Mandatory Experience Requirements

  • Degree in architecture from an accredited program plus 15 years minimum of professional experience required
  • Prior experience as an Architect Manager, Project Manager, or BIM Manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of production management and workflow processes
  • Must demonstrate working knowledge in using Revit Architecture as a production tool.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations, and vendors
  • Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong desire to excel and advance in a fast-paced, challenging and client-focused environment.
