  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.


  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
  • Provide training, mentoring and support for junior members of the team
  • Participate in development of strategic plans for Building Services and Facilities.
  • Develop and drive execution of the strategic plans including capital projects and operational improvements
  • Design, develop, introduce and maintain a standard metrics package for assigned projects
  • Develop and execute a multi-stakeholder communications plan throughout the campus and other sites as needed
  • Support the planning and execution of meetings and events; conduct post mortems
  • Lead and manage broad, complex and impactful projects.
  • Manage the creation and approval of Capital Equipment Requests (CERs) based on sound financial knowledge and inputs from technical experts
  • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes
  • Manage space planning, project/plan development and supervision of any applicable contractors/vendors
  • Serve as divisional point of contact for Facilities projects with project architect, designer, engineers, IS and consultants to see through to completion while meeting service standards
  • Assist in acquisition of new technology and equipment
  • Utilize AutoCAD drafting to execute space planning
  • Under direction of Director, oversee all aspects of design and construction projects to ensure timely completion, quality work and budgetary and code compliance
  • Ensure project activities are executed in accordance with established requirements, defined scope, budget and schedule
  • Receive, review and analyze contractor, equipment and furnishing bids to make recommendations for approval to Manager
  • Employ business planning and performance tracking to ensure team is meeting or exceeding established goals
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Develop and maintain metrics, statistics and reports on required basis
  • Create and implement process improvement programs
  • Participate in the development of the team budget
  • Maintain communication and effective working relationship between team and facilities and IS department
  • Directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling and other services as deemed necessary for the campus
  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences
