Qualification Tests for High-Temperature FBE Coatings

As deeper gas wells have been discovered, gas is produced at higher temperatures than before. As a result, the need for higher glass transition temperature (Tg) coatings has emerged, as conventional FBE coatings can-not perform at these higher temperatures, especially in gas flow lines. This article addresses the qualification test methods used to evaluate four different FBE coatings for a maximum operating temperature of 140 C in immersion conditions....
