Yes, thank you for the article, now the question is, who have these nozzle, were can I buy it ?

Comment from Gary Alkire, (5/27/2016, 11:21 AM)

One of the reasons a round nozzle is used is to make the thinning of the nozzle uniform around the circumference of the nozzle. I would love to see the a comparison of the service life of a cone shaped nozzle versus the rectangle. I would guess it would have a much shorter service life.

Thanks for reading the article. This nozzle does not manufactured for selling. And I agree with Gary Alkire's opinion. Service life of Rectangular nozzle is shorter than Round nozzle. But by increasing of labor cost, productivity will be important than service life. Service life of rectangular nozzle will be tested later.

It has to be very difficult to play with the rectangular nozzle when working in confined spaces (tanks, voids). Blasting of such items is much more time consuming than blasting flat, open areas. How can the blaster handle the hose/nozzle so that he achieves the correct angle? I predict much confusion and fumings.

Kennametal manufactures rectangular bore nozzles with a 9.5mm (#6) bore size. But for highest productivity when blasting large surfaces, I recommend our XL Performance nozzles.
