Peter, not just for CUI and storage tanks. We have been successfully applying arc sprayed zinc (99.9%)for almost 30 years on concrete for corrosion mitigation on bridge substructure. We are experiencing only 10 - 12 year life cycle but it is a good cost alternative to more expensive types of CP.
