Although knowing the moisture content of a concrete slab is helpful it is more important to determine the moisture transmission when applying floor coatings such as epoxies or other low permeability finishes, is there any "one day "way to measure this evaporation or emission?

Mr. Servin, I haven’t compared the results of single day calcium chloride tests with 3-day tests, but doubt that one-day test results would be reliable. The plastic sheet test is a 16 hour test that can be done but it is not quantitative.
