Good article. I'm a bit puzzled by the SOLACHOME claims. The Portland Cement Association recently completed a study with 45 different mix designs (including dark fly ash) - and the lowest SRI achieved was 29, much higher than the 19 listed in this article. http://www.archprecast.org/Solar%20Reflectance%20PCA%20note%20from%20Concrete%20Tech%20%2012-07.pdf

I failed to mention that the two top concrete mixes in that study had an SRI of at least 78.
