The past 25 years will likely be seen as the Golden Age of information technology, when revolutionary advances were made in the storage, manipulation, and distribution of data, and the miniaturization of devices used for these purposes. So we now have a computer/ TV/movie screen/telephone/radio/camera that we can hold in our hand, with applications too numerous to describe. It’s mindboggling when you compare the state of information technology in 1984 with this technology today....
