The Jersey Shore has arrived. That is, the luxury mega-casino portion. Several new projects glitter-up the Atlantic City boardwalk, but one 5,500,000-square-foot, $2.4 billion addition quite simply “revels” in the seaside spotlight.
Coated concrete is a commonly used building material, and arguably can be the most likely to experience coating failures. These failures greatly increase the potential for premature degradation of the substrate material and often result in additional expenditure of resources for repair.
Getting the look of a slate floor, and quickly, on top of a patchwork of old and newly placed concrete was the extreme makeover assignment tackled by Marvin and Lori Babcock for their Fantastic Sams franchise in Minneapolis.
