This webinar will explain SSPC's Trainthepainter program that provides painting and blasting training curriculum to facilities wishing to train their workforce. The comprehensive training platform includes classroom and hands-on training and assessment in protective coatings application, spray painting, and abrasive blast cleaning. Participants will be eligible to receive credit from SSPC.

Eric Piotrowski, Business Development Specialist, PCI Level 1 SSPC
Eric Piotrowski has over 20 years of experience working in the manufacturing and industrial sector. At SSPC, Eric Piotrowski is focused on developing and promoting programs that focus on the craftworker in the industrial abrasive blasting and protective coating application fields.
SSPC was founded in 1950 as the Steel Structures Painting Council, a non-profit professional membership society focused on training, certification, and education of the workforce, communication of advances in technology, and promotion of the
effective use of protective coatings.
Eric holds A.S. degrees in Mathematics and Science, Engineering Science, and a B.S. degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY). In his previous role at a southwestern Pennsylvania non-profit industrial resource center, Eric developed and managed training and consulting projects at small to medium sized manufacturers. They included companies serving the following vertical sectors; oil/gas/pipeline/petro-chemical, water/wastewater, marine, Department of Defense, power transmission/generation, nuclear, medical device, and railway.
