Both of the previous answers are correct, however, keep in mind that the wet thickness should adjust for any thinners that are added to the coating. And on concrete, you may need to make adjustments or increase readings depending upon the roughness of the surface since high performance coatings require full laitance removal.

Wet film gauge is the cheapest and fastest. It can be used with brush, roll and/or spray. Adding a mil of wet film thickness will insure dry film thickness when critical.

Monitor the coating manufacturer's specified wet-film-thickness is being applied by a wet-film-thickness gauge during application.
