From Tom Schwerdt of Texas Department of Transportation on August 15, 2014:
I have been unimpressed with calcium sulfonate alkyd (CSA) products in aggressive (seaside) environments.

From Tom Schwerdt of Texas Department of Transportation on August 13, 2014:
Well, sleeving and grouting has fallen out of favor due to some notable corrosion issues. Red lead paste is mostly out of favor despite its effectiveness. Galvanize, grease and sleeve is newly popular. The newest is probably galvanize, sleeve and dehumidify.

From merle ammon of environmental coatings, inc. on August 13, 2014:
Thoroughly clean. Apply one coat of any solvent-based, two-component epoxy primer followed by two coats of a nano-structured polyurethane hybrid. A full 15-year labor and material warranty is offered by the manufacturer of the product.

From Willie Mandeno of Opus International Consultants Ltd. on August 13, 2014:
Pressure wash with hot water, dry, then apply a high-ratio calcium sulfonate alkyd (HRCSA) penetrating sealer followed by a high viscosity self-priming finish coat applied by mitt.

From Peter Rushen of Della International College on August 6, 2014:
Apply an elastomeric acrylic primer using mitts, followed by  one coat of a waterborne acrylic finish.
