How does abrasive recycling affect cleaning rates when steel is blast-cleaned in the field?

From Damian Schimminger of Sponge-Jet on April 4, 2014:
I agree with Dan. When recycled media is used, cleaning rates go up, saving time and money. However, some abrasives change shape after being used a few times. This could cause a weakened anchored profile. I suggest checking out SSPC-AB 4 for your blasting solutions.

From Dan Ruark of IDS Blast on March 27, 2014:
It speeds blast times up, saving both time and money.
