As far as I know, the answer is an abrasive-resistant epoxy. Some phenolic type with hard filler will also fulfill this purpose. However, if the flow of material is a concern, a low-friction coating like fluoropolymer is better.

You may like to consider a chloro-sulphonated polyethylene for a trial. Hypalon is a trade name (I believe).
