The market got flooded with mid-life career changers with ZERO blasting and coating experiance, guys that were "Book Smart" and could pass an exam, 3rd party inspection firms made it even worse by sticking these "paper experts" on Lead abatement projects strictly for "BILLING HOURS" with no regard for the clients project slowing jobs down inorder to justify why they are here, example in New Orleans this year a company put a guy on a bridge project that just came off "2 years of unemployment" "he was and still is" too far out of shape to even climb around border line obeice,mis-interpertation of Basic coating standards and application methods happens alot, these Book guys miss all the real world stuff going on that those books dont teach you, like most guys know nothing about class 1A containment, they think that because the tarp attatches to the side of the deck, that its good, when we all know if you dont contain the floor your wrong!!!!! those are not fish biting the water in the middle of the river thats GRIT decking alone is not containment PERIOD.
