Interesting!! The EPA is not even enforcing the current RRP Rule for residential properties. I see painters all over my city not in compliance and nothing is being done unless someone takes the time to report the offender. Implementation without enforcement is a waste of time. The general public needs to be educated by the EPA dept. Have you ever seen a commercial or a national campaign about the lead law? Almost 3 years with the RRP Rule, and still the majority of my customers know nothing about it. If they can't enforce the residential rrp how can we expect them to enforce it in the commercial market? If there was real enforcement it would mean $$$ for those in compliance!
