An updated paint booth cart light enables better mobility and light fixture protection, Larson Electronics announced.
Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com has released an updated version of its wheeled cart-mounted, explosion-proof fluorescent paint spray booth light, the EPLCD-48-2L.
The light is designed to provide a mobile light source to move around a work area.
New Design Features
The new cart design features copper-free aluminum construction, four wheels and a fold-down handle for easier maneuvering in tight spaces. The unit can be rolled in an upright or flat position.
The EPLCD-48-2L paint spray booth light cart has been updated for easier maneuvering and better light fixture protection, Larson Electronics announced.
Equipped with the company's EPL-48-2L explosion proof light fixture, the paint booth light produces 10,000 lumens that provides "even illumination, good color rendering, and clear contrasting needed for paint booth operations," according to the company.
The new cart design also provides better protection for the lamp fixture with a new double side rail to add strength and a lamp cover grill to reduce the chance of objects impacting the fixture. The fixture is approved for Class 1 Divisions 1 & 2 and Class 2 Divsions 1 & 2 locations where gases and vapors are present and meets Canadian approval standards.
The light fixture is built to resist corrosive marine conditions and wet environments, according to Larson Electronics.
The paint booth light includes 50 feet of abrasive and chemical resistant SOOW cord with an explosion-proof plug. It is designed to run on universal voltages.
