Global Polymer Solutions has announced the acquisition of the global rights to Perlastic industrial protective coatings products.

Global Polymer Solutions LLC, headquartered in Chicago, IL, supplies high-performance coatings, elastomeric linings, and castable resins based on polyurethane, polyurea and epoxy polymer technology.

Perlastic is a line of waterborne, zero-VOC protective coatings that can be applied directly to rust or substrates with limited surface preparation and are suitable for application in confined spaces.

Global Polymer Solutions acquired Perlastic's product line, which includes three coating grades.

"This product line allows us to offer contractor and facility maintenance managers an easy-to-apply coating system to almost any application."

Perlastic offers three coating grades with an asphalt base for chemical resistance in locations like mining, agriculture, wastewater treatment and storage, power plants and fabricated structural steel.

The Perlastic product line consists of a single-component brushable/rollable coating, a trowelable coating, and a two-part, spray-applied elastomeric membrane.
