NACE International has appointed Stephanie Marie Chizik as the new editor of CoatingsPro Magazine, the society's bimonthly publication.
Chizik, who had been interim editor and a former freelance writer for the publication, assumed her position Feb. 25. She succeeds Jennifer Kramer, who is now editor-in-chief of Durability + Design: The Journal of Architectural Coatings.
“We are pleased to have Stephanie at CoatingsPro,” said Bob Chalker, NACE executive director. “She has proven herself as a valuable and talented leader, and we look forward to all that she will do for our publication.”

In those positions, she worked on communications for the Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR), the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and other clients.
She has also written several articles as a freelancer for CoatingsPro, and most recently served as the publication’s interim editor.
“I’m very happy to take on this expanded, permanent role in the coatings and corrosion industry, and to continue working with the staff and writers who have made CoatingsPro such a success,” said Chizik.
