Five new eye-popping aerosols from PlastiKote may help reduce hazards around doors, railings, barriers and other safety-sensitive features of industrial and commercial settings.
The company has upgraded its Premium Fluorescent traffic and marking line with a formula tweak and packaging twist to offer better-performing aerosol paints for high-visibility safety applications.
With the company's proprietary “Twist and Spray” technology, the reformulated PlastiKote line features five aerosol paints for safety markings, warning signs and similar applications.
“PlastiKote Premium Fluorescent paints are ideal paint for any job that calls for intense and brilliant colors,” said Katie Whiting, product manager, aerosols for Valspar. “With our new ‘Twist and Spray’ technology now available on these improved aerosols, these paints are even easier and quicker to apply.”
'Instant Visibility'
Available in Stop Light Red (FL-6), Go Green (FL-7), Pink (FL-8), Caution Orange (FL-9) and Yellow (FL-10), PlastiKote Premium Fluorescent's bright, reflective colors "ensure instant visibility and are also quick and easy to use," the company said.

They can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces on a wide range of materials.
The manufacturer says its “Twist and Spray” technology "features the twist and lock cap that makes the spray painting experience easier, faster and cleaner than ever before."
The new PlastiKote aerosol can features a large, comfortable finger pad that requires 33 percent less finger pressure to use than other spray paint cans, the company says, adding: "The patented spray top, an integral part of the can’s design, shields the finger from paint and features a twist and lock design, so there is no separate top to remove or replace after use."
