Chromaflo Technologies Corp. announced that it has acquired the Elementis Tint-Ayd line of colorant products that are sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The purchase agreement between Chromaflo Technologies B.V. and Elementis B.V. became effective on Dec. 13. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Chromaflo announced its acquisition of the Elementis Tint-Ayd line of colorant products.

"The acquisition of these products from Elementis B.V. is consistent with our efforts in supplying quality colorants for high-performance industrial coatings and architectural paints in the European markets," said Scott Becker, president and CEO of Chromaflo Technologies Corp.
Production of the acquired products will move from Elementis' location in Delden, the Netherlands, to Chromaflo's facility in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Thermoset in the Americas
Chromaflo also announced that it has appointed Ben Arnold as the market development manager for the company's thermoset business in the Americas. Arnold will be responsible for managing the advancement efforts of the thermoset business in the Americas, with a focus in South America.

Arnold will also concentrate on commercializing urethane gel coat, one of Chromaflo's newest products, while increasing business in mold release and colorants for urethane application, the company said.
He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from The College of Wooster and a master's degree in business administration from John Carroll University. Most recently, Arnold was the southwest sales territory manager for thermoset and coatings.
