Scott Doering has been with International Paint since 2005.

Doering will be responsible for developing the strategic sales and growth initiatives related to the company’s International Paint, Devoe Coatings, Ceilcote, Polibrid, and Enviroline brands. His focus will be on lining products that currently serve the oil and gas, industrial, and water and wastewater market segments throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Industry Veteran

At only 20 years old, Doering started his career as the owner of a retail paint store. He now has more than 30 years of experience in the coatings industry and is a NACE Certified Coating Inspector.

“We are delighted to have Scott back in Protective Coatings and in this expanded management role,” said Chris Tiernay, Vice President Protective Coatings, North America. “His depth of knowledge and proven expertise in sales and market management will be pivotal to leveraging our robust linings portfolio into new markets throughout North America.”

Doering joined International Paint in 2005 as the Protective Coatings Regional Manager Central Region. In 2009, he was promoted to Vice President, Marine East Coast, North America, and served in that role until this recent appointment to Protective Coatings.

International Paint is one of the world’s leading providers of high-performance protective coatings, linings, and fire protection products.
