VersaFlex has introduced Aliphatic ClearCoat-Fast, a 100% solids topcoat designed to provide abrasion-resistant, high-gloss protection for industrial and commercial floors.

Aliphatic ClearCoat-Fast may be applied directly to most substrates or used as a topcoat on existing epoxy, polyurethane, or polyurea. VersaFlex recommends the product for aircraft hangars, automobile dealership floors, and “any exterior use requiring color stability.”

VersaFlex says the coating’s high tensile strength allows it to withstand the wear of industrial equipment, steel-wheeled carts and forklifts.

Features and Characteristics

According to the manufacturer, Aliphatic ClearCoat-Fast is a zero-VOC, low-odor, fast-curing product that conforms to SSPC-Paint 39, Type 2 and is approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The two-component product is designed to be chemical resistant; UV resistant; and adhere to most substrates, including concrete, steel and wood.

The product may be applied up to 10 mils thick per coat.
