The move allows the 18-year-old, ISO-registered provider of polyurea technology products and services to significantly expand its manufacturing, design, and quality control capabilities, the company said
Additional Development, Testing
Located near the old location, the new, 100,000-square-foot building will provide space for increased inventories of raw materials and finished goods, VersaFlex said in an announcement.
The company is also making a major investment in full-capacity product development and a new testing laboratory. Like the current operation, the new laboratory will be submitted for ISO certification as a Quality Product Development Facility, VersaFlex said.
Training Planned
Plans are also in the works to construct another polyurea training facility inside the new building, like the company’s current training center in Houston, TX.
“Demand for professionally trained polyurea applicators in several emerging markets continues to rise,” the company said.

VersaFlex recently released its seventh polyurea training course module; several more polyurea technical schools are being developed.
VersaFlex “continues to experience solid growth and will be increasing its staff of support personnel to further enhance service to the global customer base,” the company said.
Other Company Activity
VersaFlex develops and supplies polyurea coatings, liners and sealants for industrial, commercial and maintenance environments.
The company also owns PolyVers International, a provider of polyurea systems for industrial coatings and liners, joint sealants and joint fillers; and Bridge Preservation, which supplies spray-applied membrane systems for tunnels.
Sector Media Strategies, an independent spin-off company of VersaFlex, recently acquired polyurea.com, a portal for the polyurea coating and lining industry. The relaunched polyurea.com will promote news, businesses and projects in the polyurea coatings, linings, and joint fill industries.
