Corr-Paint CP3015-AL uses a waterborne, proprietary silicate binder system filled with a blend of aluminum and ceramic corrosion-inhibiting pigments designed to provide exceptional high-temperature corrosion resistance on cast iron and carbon steel, the manufacturer says.
Features and Specifications
The single-part coating system is supplied in a ready-to-use viscosity of 250-900 cP with a solids content of 36.8% by weight and 19.1% by volume. The coating is applied with conventional spray equipment and cures in about two hours at 200°F, plus one hour at 500°F.
Available in four sizes, each gallon covers 309 square feet at a dry film thickness of 0.001" (1 mil). Uncured coating can be cleaned up with warm water.
Established in 1965, Aremco’s advanced materials division is a global developer and producer of technical ceramics, adhesives, coatings, sealants and potting compounds for applications to 3200°F.
