Dur-A-Flex Inc., a global provider of resinous flooring, has added Color-Fast topcoat to its Poly-Crete line of cementitious aliphatic urethane flooring systems.
Color-Fast is designed to be UV-resistant and retain its color throughout the life of the floor, making it suitable for the chemical, food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

The 100% solids, three-component, semi-gloss coating can be used over Poly-Crete TF as a thin film flooring system; as a topcoat for Poly-Crete HF, MD and WR; and as a grout coat for Poly-Crete MDB and SLB systems
Color-Fast is available in blue, burnt orange, charcoal, sandstone, red, green, gray and dark gray.
Performance Characteristics
The low-odor coating is designed to install quickly and consistently; cure quickly; meet USDA, FDA and OSHA standards; and resist stains from food processing chemicals. Manufacturer Dur-A-Flex says the coating is also textured to reduce the risk of slip-and-fall incidents in wet and dry environments.
Dur-A-Flex says Color-Fast withstands the temperature swings, chemicals, lactic acids and bacteria in commercial food environments that can compromise adhesion and erode the surface of flooring materials.
“By having a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to concrete substrates, Poly-Crete systems virtually eliminate the risks,” the company says.
