Chicago Coatings Group, LLC is a new coating consulting firm founded by Warren Brand, former president of Chicago Tank Lining.
The company currently has on staff a senior project manager; a chemist with more than 30 years of experience in coatings, material evaluations, failure analysis, and more; a chemist who holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University; and a NACE-Level 3 Inspector/Instructor.
“We are pleasantly surprised and humbled by how receptive the market has been to the various services we are providing,” Brand stated in a press release. “We are very fortunate to be working in markets ranging from floor coating evaluations for municipalities, inspection work on an iconic sculpture in Chicago, quoting our technical services as far away as Dubai and Iraq, and much, much more.”
Brand has more than 25 years of experience as a coating contractor and is a certified SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS) and NACE Level 3 Inspector. He also holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in journalism.
