Industrial Nanotech Inc. has introduced a fast-cure insulation and corrosion prevention coating designed to provide energy savings and personnel protection for equipment surfaces up to 400°F.
Nansulate Diamond is the newest addition to the company’s nanotechnology-based industrial coating line and “offers the same excellent combination of benefits,” said Francesca Crolley, VP of Business Development.

The coating is designed to provide thermal insulation, energy savings, corrosion prevention, resistance to moisture and weathering, a faster curing time, and a non-slip surface, Crolley said.
Applications
Specific applications include insulation and surface protection for large industrial boilers, steam pipes, tanks and other similar manufacturing equipment.
“In certain applications, and especially those dealing with surface temperatures as hot as 400°F that need to be reduced to a worker safe touch level of about 140°F, the faster curing time of this coating allows the area to be safe for workers sooner than our other high-heat coating, which has a longer cure time,” said Crolley.
The coating’s hydrophobic nature and non-slip surface also make it suitable for concrete walkways near moist or wet equipment, where personnel safety is a concern.
Industrial Trials
The coating has been tested successfully on industrial equipment with a major international automotive manufacturer, said Crolley.
The product expands Industrial Nanotech’s offerings for industrial applications, including those that require a faster cure.
Crolley said the product will give customers “the excellent energy savings and short 6-18 month payback period that they have come to expect from Industrial Nanotech products.”
