Construction products supplier W.R. Meadows has introduced HRM 714, a hot-applied, rubberized, asphalt membrane used to waterproof concrete.
HRM 714 is a 100% solids blend of asphalts, synthetic rubber polymers, and filler designed to provide toughness with flexibility and low moisture vapor permeance.
Applications and Features
The product is suitable for horizontal and vertical application on bridges, tunnels, parking lots, plazas, pedestrian concourses and other types of construction where a monolithic waterproofing membrane is desirable.
 |
| W.R. Meadows makes concrete waterproofing products for bridges, tunnels, parking decks, structural slabs and other industrial and commercial applications. |
Poured at a recommended temperature of 360° to 400°F, HRM 714 is applied by squeegee to a minimum recommended thickness of 90 mils or more to form a continuous elastomeric membrane.
HRM 714 contributes to LEED credits, including Energy and Atmosphere and Indoor Environmental Quality.
The product expands W.R. Meadows’ systems for waterproofing structures and allows the choice of a waterproofing system based on individual project needs, the manufacturer says.
Illinois-based W.R. Meadows has provided concrete waterproofing products for the construction industry for more than 85 years.
