JPCL Offers New Buying Guide Features

Free new print and digital features will join the popular traditional resources this year in JPCL’s upcoming Equipment Buying Guide, now in its 25th year.

As always, free listings for suppliers will be available in the Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings’ annual Buying Guide, the leading resource for industrial coatings equipment. The annual guide is published in JPCL’s June edition and online at www.paintsquare.com.

This year, JPCL has also developed new features for the guide.

Hundreds of Manufacturers

The purpose of the guide is to help users identify sources of equipment and supplies for protective and marine coatings operations.

Last year’s guide featured more than 450 suppliers. This year’s edition includes something new: free listings for distributors and dealers and a downloadable eResource for contractors.

The guide includes some 200 types of products, equipment, and supplies from hundreds of manufacturers, distributors, and/or rental companies. The listings are global, with an emphasis on the North American and European markets.

The guide is organized by nine equipment categories:  surface preparation; application; inspection; environmental protection; climate control; climbing, rigging, and scaffolding; safety; laboratory test; and software.

Getting Listed

Listings are based on data obtained through a survey sent earlier to manufacturers, distributors and rental companies known to JPCL.

Suppliers who were included in the 2011 edition should have received email solicitations to be listed free in the 2012 edition. Suppliers who have not received an invitation but would like to be included should contact Anita Socci at asocci@protectivecoatings.com.

The deadline for free supplier listings in the 2012 Equipment Buying Guide is May 21.

New Distributor Listings
 
This year’s Buying Guide will also help suppliers reach out farther than ever with free listings for distributors and dealers. These listings will be available in a new downloadable eResource that will allow contractors and other buyers to find suppliers by region.

Suppliers should contact their distributors and dealers directly to extend this offer. The deadline for free distributor listings is May 11.
