Ruwac USA has expanded its line of explosion-proof vacuums with the FRV1400, designed for areas where powder, debris and other dusts may pose a combustible-dust hazard.

The vacuum complies with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s combustible-dust initiative CPL-03-00-008 and NFPA standards.

Ruwac FRV1400

Suitable for service in and around production equipment, storage areas and other industrial settings, the FRV1400 is designed to provide cleaning power, durability and safety.

Standards and Features

Like all of Ruwac's electric, explosion-proof vacuums, the FRV1400 is certified to Class I, Division 1 & 2, Group D and Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups F & G requirements for use in hazardous locations and ETL third party certified to UL and CSA standards.

The vacuums are made in the U.S. and are designed to be intrinsically safe, with all parts and components fully grounded, static dissipating and guaranteed spark-free.

Available in 300 CFM, the FRV1400 includes an explosion-proof TEFC motor alongside a multi-stage centrifugal, high-performance turbine and relief valve rated for 24/7 operation. The compact modular housing is fully grounded and made from a carbon-impregnated, compression cast composite backed by a lifetime guarantee.

Each unit features a foot-actuated dustpan for dustless clean-up and Ruwac's MicroClean filtration, with the option to upgrade to HEPA.

Based in Holyoke, MA, Ruwac USA is the exclusive North American partner of Ruwac Industriesauger GmbH of Germany, a global supplier of industrial vacuum systems.
