About Polibrid
Since 1982, Polibrid Coatings has been a global specialty manufacturer of solventless elastomeric polyurethane technology used in a wide range of severe service applications.
The company’s flagship product, Polibrid 705, a natural elastomer, is the basis for many of the company’s coating and lining systems for tanks, pipelines, penstocks, structural steel and other applications.
The Polibrid 705 lining system is widely used in the water and wastewater market to protect concrete and steel surfaces from the effects of hydrogen sulfide and microbiologically induced corrosion (MIC).
“We are very proud of our global reputation for unique, high-quality coatings and lining products,” said Polibrid president George Ramirez.
“We believe our expertise in elastomeric polyurethane technology, and International Paint’s position in high-performance protective coatings specifications here in the U.S., brings a robust protection solution to a wide variety of industrial applications.”
International Paint, an AkzoNobel company, provides protective coatings technologies for the water and wastewater, oil, gas, chemical processing, power, pulp and paper, rail, steel structure, mining and marine industries.
