Aremco has introduced colorful options for anti-corrosion coatings, to identify and protect large aluminum and steel structures up to 1100°F.
The company’s Corr-Paint CP40XX Series is a line of silicone-based, single-part, heat-resistant coatings formulated with a VOC-compliant, water-dispersible silicone resin. CP40XX Series products adhere to metals, ceramics, refractories, and quartz.

The products dry rapidly at room temperature to produce a finish that resists weathering, UV light, salt spray, chemical corrosion, thermal cycling, and temperatures to 1100 °F (593°C).
A variety of standard and custom colors provides color identification as well as corrosion protection for structures in the power plant, oil refining, chemical processing, and steel industries.
Colors and Application
The line is available in black, off white, red, brown, aluminum, white, blue, orange, gray, green and yellow. (The black and aluminum pigments are solve-borne high-gloss systems.) Additional colors are available on request.
CP40XX Series coatings may be applied with conventional pneumatic spray equipment, brush or roller. Although abrasive blasting is recommended, the coatings may be applied to relatively smooth surfaces or directly to rust surfaces found in many maintenance and repair applications.
Typical applications include furnace shells, heat exchangers, crackers, reformers, exhaust ducting and other structures that experience oxidation due to moisture and condensation.
The series is available from stock in pint, quart, gallon and five-gallon pails.
