International Paint LLC, an AkzoNobel company, has promoted Chris McMillan to Protective Coatings Marketing Manager for North America.
McMillan will be responsible for all marketing and marketing communications activities for the company’s International Paint, Devoe, Environline and Ceilcote brands serving the oil and gas, industrial, water & wastewater, infrastructure and other markets throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
McMillan has more than 12 years of coatings industry experience. He began his career at International Paint in 1999, working with the Research and Technology laboratory in color and product formulations, then moved into product and market management until he was named Senior Market Manager in 2008.
NACE, SSPC Ties
McMillan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from Texas A&M University, holds a NACE Level 3 Coatings Inspector certification, and is an active member of SSPC. In his spare time, McMillan volunteers at a local animal rescue organization, is an avid football fan and enjoys outdoor recreation with his family.
