Coatings inspection instrument maker Elcometer has launched a new division, Elcometer NDT, which offers a comprehensive range of ultrasonic thickness gauges and flaw detectors.
The new Elcometer NDT brand includes corrosion and precision thickness gauges, hand-held mini-flaw detectors, and more than 650 transducers and accessories “to meet the exacting demands of the industry,” the company says.
All Elcometer NDT Products are manufactured in the United States and are designed to be rugged and water resistant.
Features and Selection
The NDT line is designed for measuring wall thicknesses and detecting a wide range of flaws in oil and gas, marine, power, civil engineering and other industrial applications.
NDT brand instruments feature ergonomic sealed metal cases, waterproof and dustproof membrane keypads, and a wide range of ultrasonic transducer probes capable of measuring materials at up to 340°C (650°F).
The Elcometer NDT line includes:
• Velocity Gauges;
• Corrosion Gauges;
• Precision Gauges;
• Flaw Detectors;
• Sonic Gauges; and
• Bolt Tension Gauges.
Elcometer NDT gauges carry a two-year warranty; transducers carry a 90-day warranty.
