AkzoNobel, the world’s largest paint and coatings company, has an opening for a Supply Chain Quality Manager in the UK and Ireland.
The position is part of AkzoNobel’s Supply Chain Leadership Team. The individual will develop, lead and champion the quality strategy across the UK and Ireland business and supply chain.
From developing and managing a quality improvement plan to ensuring compliance with customer, national and international standards, the Quality Manager will be at the heart of quality matters. The manager will ensure a coordinated approach to quality and facilitate learning and knowledge transfer to improve service performance and customer delivery.
The applicant must have a good understanding of HSE issues and be trained to ISO9001 Lead Auditor status. The candidate must be highly analytical, with good problem-solving skills, and have expertise in budgeting and change management.
