Coatings test equipment maker TQC (Thermimport Quality Control), founded in 1977 in the Netherlands, has opened its first North American office.
Based in Lapeer, MI, the new TQC USA will offer “everything TQC offers and a little bit more,” including some non-TQC-branded products, says owner Joel Bialek, a veteran of the coatings test equipment industry.

The launch brings TQC’s entire product line to North America, to ease transactions and speed delivery for customers in North America and parts of South America, the company says. Technical information and support will be provided through www.tqc-usa.com.
“People are going to have the ease of just calling up and ordering what they need,” said Bialek. “They don’t have to worry about exchange rates or overseas shipping.”
