A Cleveland, OH, company has an opening in its liquid paint division for a coating regulatory compliance chemist.
The position will be responsible for maintaining regulatory databases, producing regulatory documents, staying current with relevant regulations, and training staff members on regulatory issues.

This position is also responsible for testing, formulating, analysis and experimentation of raw and in-process materials.
Other responsibilities include:
• Maintaining and updating a raw material database for the MSDS program;
• Generating U.S. and Canadian MSDS;
• Developing regulatory standard operating procedures; and
• Assessing the Toxic Substances Control Act and Domestic Substances List status of raw materials and finished products.
A BS in chemistry, biology, regulatory science or other science degree and three to five years of related experience are required.
