PPG Industries has introduced PSX ONE coating in the United States for use in protective and marine project applications.
A one-component acrylic-siloxane coating, PSX ONE is designed to provide superior color and gloss retention in a durable, lower-VOC formulation that can be applied by brush, roller or spraying.
Applications and Features
Engineered for inland marine, petrochemical, water, wastewater and other application segments, PSX ONE coating is a high-gloss, non-isocyanate product that complements PPG’s existing line of siloxane coatings, including the company’s veteran epoxy-polysiloxane PSX 700 coating.

“In addition to its single-component formulation, PSX ONE coating has unlimited recoatability, making touch-up and maintenance easier while being able to be tinted in the same color range as PSX 700 coating,” said Steve Feldman, PPG sales director, protective coatings, U.S. and Canada.
PSX ONE coating also offers abrasion resistance, wide cure-temperature flexibility and unique surface tension to minimize rust or dirt-streaking, the manufacturer says.
